Selenge Davaasuren, from Mongolia, a master's degree student of the International Master Program in Acupuncture at China Medical University, had a "How to Overcome Depression and Insomnia" lecture in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia, on September 17, 2023. This lecture had a limited seat of 250; however, 1000 people wanted to apply. It showed that depression and insomnia have increased rapidly in recent years in Mongolia. Selenge Davaasuren graduated as a Traditional Medical doctor and studied psychology. On this basis, she explained Depression and Insomnia with:
- Psychology
- Brain science
- Traditional medicine
- How to find yourself
- How to create a new you
Participants appreciated this lecture. They understood they needed to know the root cause of depression and insomnia. Depression can occur for various reasons, and it has many different triggers. Insomnia is a symptom of depression. When depression is treated, insomnia will be treated.
Selenge Davaasuren mentioned that stress-related illnesses have increased rapidly in recent years worldwide. It is crucial to have rest time in a busy society. People need to know their personal traits and stress management with their individuality. To avoid depression, we must know how to express our feelings in life events.
